Russia launched a series of drone strikes on several locations in Ukraine on January 3.
The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported that Russian fighters had launched drone strikes on Ukrainian forces, including in the cities of Ratmalana and Kiev.
The mayor of Kiev said that Russia had activated the city’s air defenses in response to the drone strikes.
Three missiles hit a residential area near the central Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, killing one person and wounding five others, regional officials said on January 3.
The airstrike alert has been lifted in Kiev, but strikes are continuing in the northern regions of Chernihiv and Patvara.
